Whitewater Falls, the East’s second highest waterfall, stair-steps 411 feet just a short distance from the trail at mile 46. We will end our hike at about 50 to 55 miles. We will pack light and hike at a the pace of the slowest backpacker. We will eat backpacking meals each night, around our camp stove and practice leave no trace methods when we leave each camp site. This trip requires a 4 to 5 hour drive, so we will be staying at a campground near by the night before and then leaving early in the morning on our first day of hiking.
